Premium Oil Change
Some things change for the better. Oil is one of them. Sure, we can still do a $39 oil change if you want, but your car won't like it. Modern vehicles have been designed far ahead of the 'cheap' oil change. Our Master Technicians go beyond basic and 'cheap'. They are also looking at your needs... Less trips to the shop; a better timed inspection. All reasons why we now offer the Extended Life Oil Service, using oils that are more advanced than your Dad's old 10W40. And we use vehicle specific data to select the best oil. This detail allows us to go 6-8,000 miles with no harm at all, and every intention of the engine running 300,000 miles. We now do a 80-90 dollar oil service change, but only need to see the car TWICE A YEAR. During that service we spend a little time to be sure the car is in good shape and inspected thoroughly. We use the best oils, the best additives and customize it to your vehicle, all at a comparably similar cost to the old way.

Performance Brakes
We regularly see and expect 60 to 90 thousand miles out of our brakes. Our proprietary procedures do away with long, unpredictable "break-in" periods that are standard at most shops. Your brakes will work the first time, at full potential, GUARANTEED! And we put it in writing. Doing the old school "break in" causes lots of problems, and there's no need for it. Overheating and glazing pads due to high pedal effort reduces pad life and causes brake fade, scored rotors, dust and wear. We always use premium parts. Performance Friction pads and others that significantly outperform standard brands. Many shops use cheaper parts and hope to see you in 2 years, right after you forgot that you were just there. Our policy, if it squeaks or if it doesn't feel right, bring it back! Period. We warranty for noise down to 10% of pad wear. At MTA, We don't just " slap pads", We do it right.

Electrical Diagnostics
At MTA, we have vehicle specific computer scan tools that deliver dealer level support, including Euro and Asian cars. Most vehicles since 2000 or earlier have the ability to have their computer processors updated through a 'flashing' process. We are one of the few shops in town to be able to do this service with the best equipment. In today's cars, everything has electronics attached to it… EVERYTHING. Engines, Transmissions, ABS, Traction, Brakes, Steering, and more. It is so important to know the electronic interfacing of components. Our Master Technicians have been training, and tooling for decades, and we never stop. We invest in new tools and computer programming as a necessity. The cherry on the top is experience: 32 years and a wide range of exposure has allowed MTA to be come the premier Richland's premier service shop. Bottom line, we get electronics.
